Raksh Bandhan: “The bond of love”

Our school celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm and heartfelt participation. On this special day, students tied rakhis to the Principal Ma’am, teachers, and school staff, symbolising love, respect, and the bond of protection.

This thoughtful gesture beautifully broadened the festival’s meaning, spreading a sense of care, appreciation, and unity.

Special assemblies were organised where students learned about the significance of Raksha Bandhan and shared inspiring stories connected to the festival.

Such celebrations help students connect with their cultural traditions while nurturing values like empathy, gratitude, friendship, and togetherness.

Honouring Our Protectors, Gratitude Knows NO Bounds!

Our school, Guzder English Medium School organized a Rakhi Letter-Writing Event on 28th July, 2025, to express gratitude to our brave soldiers. Students poured their hearts out in heartfelt letters, thanking them for their selfless service and sacrifice. The event fostered empathy, patriotism, and appreciation for our nation’s sheroes/heroes. The letters were sent to the soldiers, spreading joy and strengthening bonds

સમાજના રક્ષકો એ આપણા દેશના ખરા નાયકો છે. આ નાયકોની ભૂમિકાને બાળકો ખરા અર્થમાં સમજે એ હેતુથી અમારી શાળાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ તેમને રક્ષાસૂત્ર બાંધી તેમની સેવાને બિરદાવી હતી.

રક્ષાબંધનના પર્વ નિમિત્તે ગણદેવી નગરપાલિકામાં કાર્યરત સફાઈ કર્મચારીઓ કે જેમના થકી જ ગણદેવી નગરમાં સ્વચ્છતા જળવાય છે અને સૌ નગરજનો તંદુરસ્ત જીવન જીવે છે. આ સ્વચ્છતાના પ્રહરીઓને શાળાના બાળકોએ રક્ષાસૂત્ર બાંધી તેમના પ્રત્યેની કૃતજ્ઞતા દર્શાવી હતી.  પોલીસકર્મીઓ થકી જ નગરમાં શાંતિ અને સુરક્ષા જળવાય છે. તેમના કાર્યો બદલ વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ પોલીસકર્મીઓને રક્ષાસૂત્ર બાંધી તેમના પ્રત્યેનો આભાર વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો. વિદ્યાર્થીઓના જીવનમાં નૈતિક મૂલ્યોનું જતન કરનાર એવા શાળાના ગુરુજનોને રક્ષાસૂત્ર બાંધી વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ તેમના આશીર્વાદ પ્રાપ્ત કર્યા હતા.
