Celebrating Shakti: A Joyful and Spiritual Navratri in School
During the nine days of Navratri, the school was beautifully decorated, and traditional Garbi and Gabbar displays were set up across the campus.
Young girls dressed as various forms of Goddess Durga, symbolising the significance and virtues of each manifestation. Every morning in the assembly, the importance of that particular day of Navratri was explained, followed by devotional songs and aarti. The celebrations filled the school with a serene, spiritual, and festive atmosphere.
On the day of the Navratri celebration the entire campus was filled with festive energy as students arrived in traditional attire—girls wearing colourful chaniya cholis and boys dressed in elegant kurtas and kediyu. The highlight of the event was the energetic Garba performances, where students danced with grace and enthusiasm, reflecting the true essence of Navratri.
The event concluded with the distribution of prasad, filling the day with delight and togetherness. The celebration not only brought joy but also helped students appreciate and uphold the rich cultural heritage of India.
Rhythms of Responsibility: Students Sing Environment-Themed Garba
During Navratri, sheri garbas are traditionally performed in the streets by local communities. Adding a unique touch this year, our music teacher composed a special garba song themed around environmental awareness. Our students proudly sang this garbo in their neighbourhoods, and the local residents joyfully danced to its lively and meaningful tune.
सत्य की शक्ति,असत्य का पतन,दशहरा
असत्य पर सत्य की विजय ही दशहरा है| दशानन अर्थात दस मुख वाले रावण की पराजय और अंत के पावन दिवस को हम दशहरा के रूप मे मनाते है| नौ दिनों तक राम और रावण की सेना के बीच भीषण युद्ध हुआ, जिसमे दोनों ओर के वीरों ने अपनी अद्धुत वीरता का प्रदर्शन किया| दसवें दिन भगवान श्री रामचंद्र जी ने अपने शक्तिशाली वाणों के प्रहार से रावण का वध किया और उसे मुक्ति प्रदान की|
गज़दर इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूल मे दशहरे का त्योहार बड़े ही हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाया गया| इस अवसर पर छात्रों ने भगवान राम की विजय और रावण की पराजय को रंगारंग प्रस्तुतियों के माध्यम से पेश किया|स्कूल के बच्चों ने दशहरे के त्योहार मे बढ़ –चढ के भाग लिया| बच्चों ने राम,लक्ष्मण,हनुमान के रूप मे, अपने अभिनय से सबको मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया| रावण के पुतले को जलाने का दृश्य बहुत ही रोमांचक था|, जब जलते हुए पुतले की आग और धुआँ आसमान मे उठने लगा, मानों असत्य का नाश हो रहा है और सत्य की जीत हो रही है| पूरे स्कूल के बच्चो ने एक साथ “जय श्री राम” के नारे लगाए| जिससे स्कूल का मैदान हर्ष और उत्साह से भर गया| जय श्री राम की गूंज से वातवारण गुंजयमान हो उठा | सभी के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गई | यह दशहरा उत्सव का सफल आयोजन, बच्चो के मन मे भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रति गहरा सम्मान और गर्व की भावना जगाकर, एक यादगार छाप छोड़ गया |
