Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in our school with great respect, enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme began with a special assembly where students paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. A meaningful prayer, bhajans and a thought for the day inspired everyone to follow Gandhiji’s values of truth, non-violence and simplicity.
Students presented speeches highlighting Gandhiji’s life, principles and his role in India’s freedom struggle. A short skit depicting important events from his life left the audience deeply moved. The school premises echoed with Gandhiji’s favourite bhajans, creating a peaceful and reflective atmosphere.
The celebration concluded with a pledge to follow the path of honesty, peace and harmony in our daily lives. The event not only honoured Mahatma Gandhi but also reminded everyone of the importance of practicing his teachings in today’s world.
